Lee has been with Hannay Lawyers since August 2017 and was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court in June 2018.
Prior to his admission to the Supreme Court, Lee was a member of the Queensland Police for a number years, which included working at the Criminal Justice Commission, now known as the Crime and Corruption Commission.
With the experience gained in law enforcement, Lee has the knowledge of how prolonged and in-depth investigations are conducted and the necessary evidence required by police to prove their case
During Lee’s study at Southern Cross University, Lee received the respected Bruce Miles Foundation Scholarship award for Excellence in the study of Law.
With an attention to detail combined with his ability to interpret legislation, Lee has achieved great results for clients by having charges withdrawn due to errors made by police either during the investigation process, interview process or where legislation has not been followed.
Lee has proven experience in representing clients who have been charged with serious drug and organised crime charges, attempted murder as well as street offences and running trials for clients in the Magistrates Courts along with instructing Barristers in the District and Supreme Court.
As with all Criminal Solicitors at Hannay Lawyers, Lee has a strong focus on advocating on behalf of our clients to assist in the best possible outcome for them.
